Egg white glaze carved Kwan-yin with lads


Made in Yuan Dynasty, 22.4cm high, 9.3cm wide, now it’s collected by China Ceramic Museum.

Features: She bents her knees, sits in the lotus, with long hair, plump cheek, she carries the Buddhism instruments and jewels with her from top to bottom, and wears necklaces of jade and pearls over entire body which has stood out the soft texture of her clothes. Such Kwan-yin sits in meditation seems solemn with a well-balanced proportion and delicate modeling.
